Solo Trip – Day 7 – Friday

Today I had a plan to go to all 4 Theme Parks in one day and go on at least one ride or watch one show at each park, I also decided to try and do a snack or meal from each park as well to add to the challenge.

So the outcome, 100% success 🙂
I started the day at Animal Kingdom to watch the Festival of the Lion Ling, arriving just minutes before it started and got a front row seat so was very happy, the show was amazing as always. On my way out I went into Pizzafari and grabbed my first park meal of the day, a single cheese pizza.
Now I was suitably full I headed for the Polynesian bus so I could take the monorail to Magic Kingdom, I could have simply got a bus direct to Magic Kingdom but I really enjoy a trip on the monorail, it’s old, it has its faults but is still iconic.
On arriving at the Polynesian I found one of their quick service locations to refill my resort cup, with this complete I headed for the monorail.
With plenty of time before the Festival of Fantasy parade starts I had one last look through the Main Street shops and hopped on over to the Ice Cream parlour for my next piece of food for the day which was a single scoop of Cookies & Cream in a cone, this was nice and refreshing and I had to eat it fast as the heat was melting it. It was now time to find a suitable spot to watch the parade from, I chose a spot on the front row close to the castle. When the parade arrived I could see everything nice and clearly from my chosen spot.

Once complete I headed for the monorail to once again top up my resort mug before heading on to Epcot for my FastPass bookings of TestTrack and Mission Space, unfortunately the monorail from the Ticket & Transportation Centre to Epcot was delayed for around 30 minutes waiting for ‘Traffic Clearance’, a kind cast member came on board and handed out FastPasses for any attraction at Epcot, which I thought was a really nice touch, 5 minutes later we were on our way.

On arriving at Epcot I instantly noticed a difference with Flower & Garden now being over, the Disney characters shaped from plants had all been removed, it looked rather plain. I wasted no time and headed over to TestTrack to use my new FastPass, it was nice riding without my GoPro so I could fully appreciate the attraction. After coming off TestTrack I headed for my Mission Space FastPass. Once complete I took the decision to visit Lotus Blossom in World Showcase to enjoy Schichuan Chicken & rice again. After enjoying this meal I headed back to TestTrack for one last ride with my booked FastPass before catching the bus to Hollywood Studios.
Once I arrived at Hollywood Studios I went into Sunset Boulevard to choose a snack, which turned out to be a Monsters Inc shortbread cookie. With nothing else left to do I went to find a spot to watch Fantasmic from. Photos were extremely difficult to get for this but here are a few.

So 14,929 steps later and I had done it, 4 Parks, 4 pieces of food and 4 attractions, really happy with this achievement, hard going but definitely worth it.
This was my final day in the parks as Saturday I head back to the UK, so this will be my last entry.
I have had a wonderful week and hope you’ve all enjoyed following my journey.
Look forward to my next return in October for Halloween season.
